If your CNA license is current, renewing does not cost anything. Below are detailed instructions to renew:

First go to Texas Nurse Aide Registry and verify your license is still active.https://emr.dads.state.tx.us/DadsEMRWeb/emrRegistrySearch.jsp

**If it is not expired go to Texas Health and Human Services

 https://www.hhs.texas.gov/doing-business-hhs/licensing-credentialing-regulation/credentialing/nurse-aide-service-education

1. Do all 6 modules once a year (or do them twice if you did not do any in year 1). Print the certificates at the end of each module

2. Fill out Employment verification form (your boss has to sign it). This is a 5506-NAR from Texas Health and Human Services:

3. You will need to mail these in to the registry to [email protected]  Make sure your information is current and COMPLETE.
